How Not to Look Like a Predator: Strategies for Communicating the Legitimacy of Your Journals

Al Hamra Ball Room                Keynote Lecture

You’ve worked hard to establish a new journal, and now you need to make sure no one mistakes it for one of the quickly-growing number of deceptive or predatory operations that make false promises of scholarly rigor in return for author payments. What can you do to ensure that no one gets the mistaken impression that your new journal is a predator? This presentation will offer concrete strategies for clearly signaling your journal’s scholarly bona fides.
