The ACSE serves to bridge the gap between Asia and the rest of the publishing world, providing editors and scholars from the region with a unified and leading platform to equip them with the latest industry knowledge, effective editorial workflows, technical tools, and professional training. In addition, ethical guidelines are provided to help Asian editors and scholars prepare for the existing and future challenges of scholarly publications.

By promoting best publishing practices, defining standardized editorial procedures and guidelines, and disseminating intelligent information, and the latest industry tools and solutions, the Council seeks to improve the overall quality of publishing within the region. We strive to create a strong network of individuals and organizations, enabling our members to benefit from the collective wisdom of the community.

    Our vision is to be the trusted leader in providing an active forum for the scholarly publishing community and professionals to discuss, explore, and find solutions to current and emerging issues in scholarly communications.

    Our mission is to promote the scholarly and professional publishing community of Asia by connecting professionals, advancing the scholarly publishing ecosystem, developing innovative resources, and collaborating with regional and international organizations to disseminate intellectual information globally.

  • Code of Conduct

    The ACSE Constitutional Articles are up-to-date as of January 2022 and include all amendments adopted up to this date. Amendments to the Constitutional Articles may only be made upon approval by the Board of Directors. The process for making such changes requires that they be submitted to the responsible unit and approved by the unit's sector before consideration by the Board of Directors.
