This year a wide range of topics including OA publishing, preprints, peer review, publication ethics, GPP4, impact metrics, and journal publishing to journal marketing was the major focus of discussion during the 8thAnnual Meeting of the Asian Council of Science Editors. The meeting was hosted virtually on Sunday 21, August 2022 in collaboration with Science Alert, ANSInet, Academy of Excellence in Biosciences, Science International, Asian Digital Library, ASCI Database, SciONE, LiveDNA, and JournalsPedia Scholarly analytics. The meeting agenda was been designed strategically covering major aspects and needs of the publishing ecosystem along with the outstanding networking opportunities. All the invited speakers and panel experts were experienced and masters in their fields, gathered to discover & disseminate the latest publishing innovations, discuss important issues of the current publishing community and explore the state-of-the-art solutions and strategic SOPs for the same. The active participation of attendees and the speakers ensured that the meeting was rich in information, trendy, and provided a lot of take-home statements.
