Analyzing the shifting landscape of publishing with changing technologies and busines moldles, this course is basically developed to address the most common issues and tasks faced by the journal management. This course will enable delegates to build on their skills to be more effective in meeting the day-to-day challenges of journal publishing, changing business models and editorial processes.
Journal development; journal improvement; editorial workflows; establish effective relationships; new techniques to accomplish daily tasks; understanding of current publishing models; best practices of journal publishing; understanding of editorial processes and management; improve the journal quality by implementing the effective editorial processes; improve the standing within the international community.
This course is particularly aimed for editors who are new to their position, or those managing editors who have one to two years of editorial experience.
