Mr. Ashim Kumar Saha is currently serving as Programme Manager (Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation – PM&E) at NETZ Bangladesh Partnership for Development and Justice in Dhaka. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Dhaka (2005–2006). With over 14 years of professional experience, Mr. Saha has made notable contributions to diverse sectors including education, nutrition, public health, WASH, climate change, disability, legal aid, and renewable energy. He has co-led several national and international research projects involving baseline studies, cross-sectional surveys, RCTs, and mixed-method evaluations.
Mr. Saha has authored 12 international peer-reviewed journal articles and developed training modules to support early-career researchers. He is proficient in data analysis, scientific writing, project cycle management, and monitoring frameworks, with expertise in SPSS, REDCap, Kobo Collect, and Mendeley. Trained in research methods by Johns Hopkins International Injury Research Unit and Bloomberg Philanthropies, he is also an editorial board member of the Asian Council of Science Editors.
He has presented at global conferences across Asia, Africa, and the US, including events on sustainability, injury prevention, and urban climate change. His recent work focuses on Bangladesh’s transition to green energy and advancing inclusive, sustainable development in developing countries.
