Madhura Amdekar is a Community Engagement Manager at Crossref where she focuses on engaging with editors, editorial organisations, and publishers to help them leverage rich metadata for preserving the integrity of the scholarly record. Madhura has been working in the scholarly publishing industry for the past 5 years and holds a PhD in Behavioural Ecology from the Indian Institute of Science (India). She is also a member of the Board of the Directors of International Society of Managing and Technical Editors (ISMTE) and is based in the Netherlands.
