Maryam Sayab currently serves as the Secretary of the Asian Council of Science Editors (ACSE), following her impactful tenure as the organization’s Director of Communications. In her new leadership role, she continues to advance ACSE’s mission of strengthening research integrity, promoting ethical publishing, and fostering collaboration among editors, researchers, and publishers across Asia and beyond.
As Co-Chair of Peer Review Week, Maryam actively contributes to global conversations on innovation, transparency, and accountability in peer review.
